1. Who these terms are with

This website is operated by Ask Mr. JM, Kempner, TX. Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. Nothing is sold on this website

You cannot buy anything here. There is no checkout, no subscription, and no price list. The forms on this site start a conversation, nothing more. Sending an inquiry does not create a contract and does not oblige either of us to anything.

3. How work is agreed

Consulting work is scoped individually. Before any paid work begins you receive, in writing, what will be delivered, what is excluded, what access is required, and the fee. Work starts only after you agree to that in writing. If the scope needs to change once we are underway, that change is agreed in writing too.

4. What is not promised

Automation and AI tools behave differently in every business, and results depend on your processes, your data, and the software you already use. Nothing on this website is a promise of a particular business result, a saving, a revenue figure, or a timeframe. Educational material on this site is general information, not advice for your specific situation.

Where a workflow includes an AI-generated draft or suggestion, a person on your side reviews it before it is used. Designing that review point is part of the work, and it is your responsibility to actually use it.

5. Your systems and access

If an engagement requires access to your accounts or tools, you grant that access yourself, in writing, limited to what the work needs, and you can withdraw it at any time. You remain responsible for your own data, your own backups, and the terms of the third-party software you use. Nothing here transfers ownership of your accounts or your data.

6. Third-party tools

Work often connects software owned and run by other companies. Those tools have their own terms, pricing, uptime, and limits, and they can change them without notice. Ask Mr. JM is not responsible for a third party changing, restricting, pricing, or discontinuing its own product.

7. Ownership

The text, images, brand, and lessons on this website belong to Ask Mr. JM. You are welcome to read, print, and share links. Please do not republish the material as your own. Configuration and documentation produced for you during a paid engagement is yours, as set out in that engagement's written scope.

8. Liability

This website is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Ask Mr. JM is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or the general information on it. Liability connected to a paid engagement is addressed in that engagement's written agreement.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies.
