Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Ask Mr. JM ("we," "us," "our") handles personal information when you use askmrjm.com, contact us, book a call, request a teardown, or buy a product or service.

Practical summary: we collect what you send us so we can reply, book, deliver work, and process payment. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Who we are

Ask Mr. JM
Kempner, TX 76539, United States
Phone: 254-397-5700
Email: mr.joelmoreno1984@gmail.com

This is a home-based / small-business operation serving primarily Central Texas and remote clients. The postal locality above is our public business contact location for privacy and commercial email purposes.

2. Information we collect

You provide

  • Contact and inquiry data: name, email, phone, message, business website URL, and any other details you include in forms or email.
  • Booking data: when you schedule through Cal.com (name, email, time zone, notes you enter).
  • Project materials: logos, copy, logins, and files you send after engagement (handled only as needed to deliver the work).
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe may provide us with confirmation details (amount, last four digits, receipt email).
  • Marketing consent: whether you opted in (and roughly when) to receive optional emails such as a free teardown reply or tips.

Collected automatically

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and approximate location as provided by our hosting provider (Hostinger) and server logs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see section 6.

We do not intentionally collect government IDs, full bank account numbers, or health information through public website forms. Do not submit that data via contact forms.

3. How we use information

  • Respond to inquiries and free teardown requests
  • Schedule and run strategy calls
  • Deliver websites, automations, and support you purchased
  • Process payments and send receipts (via Stripe)
  • Send transactional messages about your project or booking
  • Send marketing emails only if you opted in
  • Secure the site, prevent abuse, and debug technical issues
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share personal information only as needed with service providerswho help us operate the business, under their own privacy terms, limited to providing those services:

  • Hosting: Hostinger (site files and server logs)
  • Scheduling: Cal.com (bookings)
  • Form delivery: FormSubmit (contact and teardown forms email us)
  • Payments: Stripe (checkout and receipts)
  • Email: our email provider for correspondence
  • Tools used in client work: only when required for your project (for example SMS, CRM, or domain DNS), and only with your knowledge for that engagement

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer (for example sale of assets), with notice where required.

5. Marketing email and CAN-SPAM

  • Marketing or promotional email is sent only if you opt in (for example by requesting a free teardown or checking a consent box). Consent is not pre-checked.
  • Every marketing email will identify us and include a way to unsubscribe. You can also email mr.joelmoreno1984@gmail.com with "unsubscribe."
  • Transactional messages (booking confirmations, project updates, invoices) are not marketing and may still be sent when needed to fulfill a request or contract.
  • Our postal contact for commercial email is the locality listed in section 1.

6. Cookies, analytics, and trackers

Current inventory (as of the date above):

  • Essential / functional: cookies or local storage that may be set by the hosting platform or third-party widgets you load (for example Cal.com when you open the booking embed) to make booking and security work.
  • Analytics: no analytics are running on askmrjm.com yet. When we turn it on, it will be Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it will set no cookies, write nothing to local or session storage, not store your IP address, not fingerprint your device, and not track you across other sites. This section will be updated the day it is switched on. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other ad trackers or pixels on askmrjm.com.
  • Form and payment providers: FormSubmit, Cal.com, and Stripe may set their own cookies when you use those services. Review their policies for details.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break booking or forms.

7. Retention

We keep inquiry and project records as long as reasonably needed to deliver services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete contact data we hold; we may retain limited records where law or legitimate business needs require it (for example paid invoices).

8. Security

We use HTTPS on the website and rely on reputable processors for payments and hosting. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Share passwords and admin access only through channels we agree on after engagement, not through public contact forms.

9. Children (COPPA)

This website and our services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 submitted data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Your choices and requests

Depending on applicable law, you may request to:

  • Access or correct personal information we hold about you
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal retention needs
  • Opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link or email us)

Contact mr.joelmoreno1984@gmail.com or 254-397-5700. We will respond within a reasonable time.

11. Third-party sites

Links to client demos, Stripe Checkout, Cal.com, social profiles, and other sites are not under our control. Their privacy practices apply when you leave askmrjm.com.

12. Changes
