I’m Joel Moreno — a veteran, a business owner, and the “JM” in Ask Mr. JM.

I didn’t come from the tech world. I come from the world where you show up, do the job right, and take care of your people. After my service, I started running my own businesses — and I learned fast that the hardest part isn’t the work. It’s everything around the work: getting found online, answering every call, following up before the customer moves on.

So I built a system to handle all of it for myself. It worked. Then I watched other small-business owners — a lot of them fellow veterans — lose customers every week to the same gaps: a missed call, a slow reply, an old website, no reviews. Good people doing great work, losing business for reasons that had nothing to do with how good they were.
